MISSIONS

DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN MISSIONS
At Church of Living Waters, we embrace the spirit of servanthood and generosity in very practical ways. Our foreign missions effort has included contributions to projects in Liberia, Uganda, the Philippines, India, Dominica, and other islands of the Caribbean. Our Domestic Missions include Our Hope Center, a community resource center, a transitional housing facility, partnerships with several area homeless shelters, and a senior citizen facility. Our members are constantly at work, sharing the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness!

GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN OUTREACH
This program is designed to offer direct responses to humanitarian crises across the globe such as natural disasters, pandemics, chronic poverty, among others. GHO has provided humanitarian relief to Dominica, Barbados, Jamaica, Grenada and India. We continue to seek opportunities to demonstrate the kindness of God.

CARIBBEAN MISSIONS
Church of Living Waters provide ministry, leadership development and missions to several islands of the Caribbean including Dominica, Barbados, Jamaica, St Lucia and Grenada.

THANKSGIVING OUTREACH
The Thanksgiving Outreach program feeds approximately 1000 people in the Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia area each year. Traditionally, three homeless shelters are provided with ready-to-eat packaged meals, and dinner is also served on location at the church. In 2020, due to COVID-19, a Thanksgiving Drive-thru Outreach was established where hams, turkeys, and other food essentials were distributed. This outreach has now become an annual event.

THE HOPE CENTER OUTREACH
The Hope Center Outreach program is designed to respond to the needs of the local community by providing food, and other basic needs, service referrals, and volunteer opportunities for high school students.
